Choose the 9-hour option to see the best of Innsbruck. Early in the morning, your private driver will pick you up from your accommodation in Salzburg in a clean, air-conditioned vehicle and drive you straight to the capital of Tyrol in the heart of Wipp Valley. Your Private Guide will meet you in Innsbruck and take you on a walking tour of the Old Town. Attractions include a visit to 2 historic churches. Inside the Baroque Cathedral of St. Jacob you will discover one of the most venerated Marian images in Christendom, Maria Hilf (Mary of Succor) by Lucas Cranach the Elder. Inside Hofkirche you will explore galleries filled with art and statues, Emperor Maximilian's cenotaph and the tomb of Andreas Hofer, Tyrol's national hero. Other places of interest include the Hofburg Palace, Golden Roof, St. Ann’s Column and Triumphal Arch.

After the guided tour the driver will take you to the Bergisel Ski Jump Observation Deck. The viewing terrace of the Bergisel Tower offers panoramic views of the whole city surrounded by Alps. Tickets include elevator access. In addition to admiring the amazing views, you can stop for lunch at the restaurant „Bergisel Sky”, which is located at an altitude of 40 meters. After free time for lunch and souvenir shopping, the driver will take you back to your accommodation in Salzburg.

This extended tour includes skip-the-line tickets, so you will not have to wait in lines at the ticket office. The guide will meet you in Innsbruck’s Old Town and take you to Hofkirche and Innsbruck Cathedral. They will not accompany you at the Bergisel Observation Deck and Ambras Castle.
Church tours during mass and special events (such as scheduled concerts) are limited, therefore the guide may provide all information outside.
Skip-the-line tickets to Amber Castle allow you to bypass the queue to the ticket office. There are security checks. Audio guide is available in German, English, Italian and French.
The Hofburg Portrait Gallery in Amber Castle is open from April 1 to October 31.
We will arrange private transfers in a standard car (sedan) for groups of 1-4 people, and in a larger van for groups of 5 people and more. You can book a 5-people tour to take advantage of a larger vehicle. Our drivers speak English.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
