From Salta: QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA + PUEBLITOS PINTORESCOS (small picturesque villages)

Discover the natural and cultural beauty of the Quebrada de Humahuaca, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Our tour begins in the province of Salta, from where we enter the neighboring province of Jujuy.
We will cross Route 9, passing through the towns of Volcán and Tumbaya, until we reach the town of Purmamarca, famous for its Cerro de los 7 Colores (Hill of the 7 Colors). Here we will visit the main square and explore the artisans' stalls.
Continuing along Route 9, we will arrive at the town of Humahuaca, located at 2,939 meters above sea level. Here we will visit the Candelaria Cathedral Church and visit several museums and monuments, such as the Independence Monument.
On the way back, we will visit the ancient temple of the town of Uquía, known for its Cuzco paintings called "Los Angeles Arcabuceros". We will also pass through Huacalera, where we will be able to observe a monolith that marks the crossing of the Tropic of Capricorn Line.
Finally, we will visit the town of Tilcara, located at 2,461 meters above sea level, where we will visit the main square and the surrounding area. Finally, we will return to the city of Salta Capital.
