Take the DiDi taxi to the Temple of Heaven in the morning. The Temple of Heaven is the only one still exists in China for emperors to hold important ceremonies in the ancient time. It was built in 1404 and came into being in 1420, since then it was the imperial temple for 23 emperors from Ming and Qing dynasties. But now it’s a beautiful park for local people where they come to do exercises everyday. The temple part is pen to tourists. Here you will see the most beautiful ancient Chinese architecture in China was called Hall of praying for good harvest and learn the old believing of Chinese people.
After Temple of Heaven, we will take you to a nice tea house to experience the traditional Chinese tea ceremony of China to learn the history of teas and important roles teas play in Chinese people’s life.
After the tea ceremony, we will take you to try some nice local snacks like Beijing noodle, dumplings or Men Ding meat buns for a quick lunch. ( if you want a formal lunch, the costs will be at your own expense )
After lunch, your guide will show you the amazing Tian’anmen Square, where parliament building and national museum are surrounding it. Walk through the whole square to the Forbidden City.
In the end, tour the Forbidden City along the central axis, where all the highlights of the Forbidden City are located.
After the Forbidden City, you will exit from the north gate of the Forbidden City after the imperial garden.
In the end, guide will take a DiDi taxi to take you back to your hotel.
