Take part in a romantic voyage through the scenic landscape of Berchtesgaden, with plenty of time to explore the Königssee. Be enchanted by idyllic valleys, and amazed by the stunning heights of the Bavarian Alps.
This magical tour will start on Salzburg's charming Mirabellplatz, and take you over the Staatsbrücke, along the Salzach river past the Baroque old town, and down the Alpenstraße to the former border controls at Marktschellenberg. During the journey you'll be able to see the Königsee, and drive through the enchanting landscape of the Bavarian Alps, on your way to Obersalzberg (around 1000m above sea level.)
Today, the location where Hitler had his holiday residence contains nothing but ruins. A road winds up to the place where the Kehlsteinhaus, Hitler's Eagle's Nest, once stood.
The next stop is the Königsee, an azure lake encircled by steep, rugged cliffs. Allowing ample time for you to enjoy the scenery, the tour will then lead you back to Berchtesgaden, where, before your return to Salzburg, you'll be able to try out any of the enticing local delicacies on offer.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
