Bali - the famed Island of the Gods
Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It is not unreasonable that this island is called the island of the gods and one of the most beautiful places on earth. Bali is one of the most memorable and popular tourist islands in the Indonesian archipelago. It has beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.
Bali is known for the beaches which are not only some of the bests in the world but also some of the best free activities in Bali: Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the beach, spa or one of the relaxing restaurants in the area. Party at the beach club is definitely one of the activities in Bali and the best place to go is Kuta. Its stunning mountainside architecture makes it more dramatic as the waves are 200 feet deep. Honestly, this is not a great beach, but it is one of the most popular places to learn to surf in Bali and one of the best spots for a sunset.
One of the favourite things in Bali is to visit the beach club for another beautiful sunset that Bali is famous for. It cannot be denied that watching the sunset at Kuta Beach is one of the best things to do in Bali. The sunset over the Tanah Lot Temple is one of the best spots in Bali.
Besides the sea and sand, Bali has a lot of other attractions such as temples, caves, waterfalls, museums, and markets. If you love history and culture, you can spend hours studying local legends and traditions in places like Ubud. After a one-week crash course on temples, beaches, monuments, waterfalls, and restaurants in Bali you will know for sure that you want to come back and search here again
There are many temples on the island of the gods, and visiting temples is one of the best activities in Bali. One of the most visited temples in Bali is Tanah Lot, which is located near popular Bali beach resorts such as Kuta / Sanur / Seminyak. Tanah Lot is a rock on the beach and the temple above it is one of Bali's seven ocean temples that protect the island. If you are looking for a quieter temple to explore, visit the Besakih temple which is the largest and most sacred Hindu temple in Bali.
Ubud is one of the most popular places in Bali, so be careful, there are a lot of people here and monkeys are used to it. Ubud Monkey Forest is one of the few places worth visiting in Bali. You can see wild monkeys in a safe environment for you and the animals. The Sacred Monkey Forest is a sanctuary and complex of Hindu temples in Ubud.
It is breath-taking, but at sunset this place will offer you one of the most beautiful sunset views. Surrounded by the rainforest, it is one of the most beautiful and Instagram-worthy places in Bali, and this makes it one of the best waterfalls in Bali.
This rice paddies are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and should be on your to-do list as they are one of the most popular places to visit in Bali. While rice terraces can be found throughout Bali, from the famous Tegallalang Rice Terrace to the remote highlands of Pupuan, my favourite is the Jatiluih Rice Terraces. If you want a quieter and more relaxed place to see the spectacular rice terraces, visit Jataluwih in the Tabanan region
Following the Eat Pray Love tradition, one of the most popular activities in Bali is swimming in the waters of the Tirta Empul temple in Tampaksiring. One of the coolest things to do in Bali is to visit this water palace located in the Bali mountains. Uluwatu Temple is probably one of the most famous sites in Bali and is situated 70 meters above sea level.
