Embark on a thrilling jungle safari in Chitwan National Park on this 2/3/4-day tour from Kathmandu or Pokhara. Spot wild animals including Royal Bengal Tiger, wild Elephants and One Horned Rhino.
Chitwan Jungle Safari begins with a 5-6 hours bus ride from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan. After lunch, the activities here after depends upon the number of days and option you choose. Usually, the first afternoon begins with a tour around the ethnic Tharu village. You will then be enjoying the evening with a beautiful sunset and Tharu cultural program. The next day begins with a dugout canoe for traversing the northern Rapti River, a home to crocodiles. Jungle walk hereafter helps to sight some baby elephants with their mother at their conservation centre. The jungle safari then begins later in the afternoon with a jeep ride inside the Chitwan National Park. The safari allows for a possible sighting of Royal Bengal Tiger, wild bear and one horned rhino. On your way you will also be passing through the Gharial conservation center.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 1 : Drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan (Min Alt: 415 m)

On day one you will be taking a 5-6 hours drive from Kathmandu/Pokhara to Chitwan. Here you will be enjoying a sunset with an ethnic Tharu cultural program in the evening. A hotel in Chitwan will be your halt for the night.

Accommodation: Hotel Rainforest

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Note: For travelers with a 2-Day option will be driven to Chitwan via a private car. This allows the travelers to reach the national park before noon to join the jeep safari. Or they may choose to go for the safari on day two and return back to Kathmandu after noon on day two.

Day 2 : Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park (Min Altitude: 415 m)

On day two you will be on a Jungle Safari inside the Chitwan National Park. Here you will be enjoying a Jeep ride deep into the buffer area of the forest with a chance to sight wild animals including Royal Bengal Tiger, wild Elephants and One Horned Rhino among others.

Additionally you will also visit the Elephant conservation center and Gharial conservation center on your way. The same hotel again will then be your halt for the night.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (for 3/4 day option only)

Note: Travelers with a 2-Day option will return back to Kathmandu on day two.

Day 3 : Jungle Tower Night (Min Altitude: 415 m)

On day three you will be on an additional jeep safari inside the unexplored area of Chitwan National Park. Later in the afternoon after your lunch, you will be driven to the jungle tower inside the forest. Here you will be staying for the night to experience the real wildlife activities.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (for 4 days option only)

Note: Travelers with 3-Day option will return back to Kathmandu on day three.

Day 4 : Drive back to Kathmandu/Pokhara (Max Altitude: 1350 m/4430 ft)

On day four, you will be on a 5-6 hours bus ride back to Kathmandu/Pokhara. The travelers will have complimentary hotel transfers in Kathmandu but should manage it by themselves in Pokhara.
