Please note:
• All visitors must pass through airport-style security. During high season the wait at security may be up to 30 minutes.
• The first portion of the itinerary is quite fast-paced. For this reason, it is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.
• The Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica require that all visitors have their knees and shoulders covered.
• Bags measuring more than 40x35x15 centimeters as well as tripods, large umbrellas, and objects that could be harmful to other visitors or damage works of art in the Museums, are not allowed into the Vatican Museums and must be stored in the cloakroom. Be aware that the cloakroom is a 20-minute walk from the ending point of the tour.
• St. Peter’s Basilica is an active parish and therefore subject to unforeseen closures for spiritual celebrations. In such cases, if possible, you will be contacted in advance with an alternative tour time or itinerary.
The number of visitors is limited to reduce crowds

All participants who are 12 years and older must present a Green Pass that is valid in the EU and has a verifiable QR code. Valid Green Passes can be obtained by uploading either proof of vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection within the last 6 months, a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the activity starts, or a negative antigen test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts to the Green Pass or Covid Certificate apps
Masks are required while indoors
In addition to proof of vaccination, all participants who are over 18 years old must present a government-issued photo ID (e.g. driver’s license, passport, etc). Participants under 18 may also use a school photo ID. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by an adult who meets the above requirements. Participants who do not comply with these requirements will be denied entry or asked to leave the theater
