Hiking Mount Vesuvius is one of the most popular and fascinating experiences to have in Campania.
Choose between a ticket and audio guide only, or add a bus transfer from Naples.
During the ascent to the great cone you will have a chance to admire the beauty of the Gulf of Naples and its islands, the excavations of Pompeii, and the lava from the last eruption.
The hike is suitable for everyone (difficulty E: hiking) and requires no special trekking preparation. Comfortable clothing and shoes with good soles are recommended.
In case of bad weather or force majeure, the climb may be suspended by the volcanological guides.
