After 50 years, Florence has finally opened its museum of the twentieth century! It sits in a place recalling its glorious past: the St. Paul's Hospital, also called "Leopoldine", as it was the name of the first girl school.
The twentieth century was a period in which Florence was one of the most flourishing centers of the world. In the museum of the 900, all the paintings, sculptures and video documents concern an incredible artistic period. The museum houses 300 works in 15 modern exhibition rooms made respecting the old Renaissance complex of Michelozzo, the Medici architect.
