Nha Rong Port: Private Mekong Delta Tour

Experience the vibrant Mekong Delta, a beautiful waterway hosting incredible floating markets, traditional locals trading, and every color you could imagine. You can visit a handicraft village and even try out some local Mekong delicacies on the way.
You will be met at your arrival port by your English-speaking guide who will take you to your car. From here you will be taken to the incredible Mekong Delta, viewing the surrounding countryside and the agricultural way of life of the locals on the way.
Your guide will explain the course of the river as you pass traditional rice paddies and fruit orchards, and you will learn of their origins in the snowy mountains of Tibet.

Next up you will board a private "sampan" (traditional motorized boat) in Cai Be from where you will embark on an unforgettable exploration of this fascinating waterway.
The river here is crowded with floating markets selling colorful fruits, vegetables, flowers, and seasonal goods. Tourist-crowded streets will seem a million miles away as you witness traditional trading and the way of life of the locals on the water.

Afterwards, swap your sampan for a rowing-boat as you venture into the smaller, more secluded canals of the Delta. The quieter canals are the perfect place to witness a slower pace of life as you pass under tropical canopies and paddle through the serene water.
You will make your way to dry land next as you explore the island of Tan Phong and enjoy distinctive South-Western Vietnamese music with a live performance. Bikes will also be provided if you wish to explore this beautiful island further!

Towards the end of your tour, you will visit local families and learn how they use the land to craft everything from delicate rice paper to the sturdy roofs of their homes. The families will treat you to Mekong delicacies for lunch, which will include freshly made spring rolls, fried pumpkin flowers and beautiful braised pork soaked in coconut juice.
Before you make your way back to port, you’ll visit Cao Dai temple, uncovering native religious beliefs and having a chance to admire the art on the walls of the temple. Your guide will then take you back to your port, with plenty of time for your cruise departure.
