From Ho Chi Minh: Mekong Delta 2 Days 1 Night

DAY 1: SAI GON – MY THO – CAN THO

On the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta.
Upon arrival in My Tho, embark on a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you'll observe fish cages and floating houses dotting the water. The boat will then take you through a small canal, allowing you to completely escape the hustle and bustle of the town.
Stop at a local family home to enjoy fresh tropical fruit and sample honey tea and honey wine. Next, visit a village coconut candy shop to learn how the candy is made and observe various handicrafts created from coconut trees. Take a leisurely walk through the village, where you can admire the fruits, flowers, trees, local houses, and the daily life of the children and people who live there.
Travel to the music spot by tram or horse-drawn carriage, where you'll be serenaded by the melodies of Southern singers, a traditional art form of the Mekong people. Then, enjoy a 15-minute ride in a three-leaf canoe as it weaves through small creeks, offering you a unique and peaceful experience of the region's natural beauty.
Then, we'll head to a local restaurant by boat, where a lunch featuring special Vietnamese dishes will be served. Enjoy the authentic flavors of the region in a relaxing riverside setting.
After lunch, take some time to relax, go for a walk, or explore the area by bicycle. Once refreshed, we'll head back to the river ferry and continue our journey to Can Tho.

DAY 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – SAI GON

Explore the Cai Rang floating market in the early morning, the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta and one of the world's top 19 must-visit food hubs. Here, you'll witness the vibrant scene of locals trading goods from hundreds of boats gathered on the river. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise as you approach the market and stop for breakfast on a local boat, where you can find a variety of items, including breakfast dishes, drinks, fruits, and more.
Next, visit a rice noodle factory, where you'll learn how rice noodle yarn is made. You’ll have the opportunity to try making rice noodles yourself and purchase some as souvenirs.
Visiting the My Khanh tourist village, guests can explore the fruit gardens, the My Khánh flower garden, and the wildlife park. They can also visit a house that is over 100 years old. After that, the group will visit and learn about the Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, which was built in the architectural style of the Ly - Tran dynasties.
Enjoy the lunch at My Khanh tourist village restaurant.
The group will depart to visit the Coffee – the Purple House film studio in Can Tho (ticket purchase is self-funded). Every detail, from the house to the surroundings, is filled with purple hues, attracting thousands of tourists who come here
Return to Ho Chi Minh City and trip ends.
