Visit My Son Sanctuary and learn about its history from a guide. On your way back to Hoi An, enjoy a majestic view of the Thu Bon River on a boat trip. Start your day by getting picked up from your hotel in Hoi An. Then, proceed to My Son Sanctuary and hear about Vietnamese history and culture. Admire the impressive ancient temples and the diverse nature that surrounds them. Since the temples are located within a small valley, you may even get the opportunity to see some wildlife.
After exploring My Son Sanctuary and taking pictures at the best spots, make your way back to Hoi An with a boat trip along Thu Bon River. Marvel at the houses and villages that sit along the river.
Following that is a trip to the majestic Marble Mountains that loom for miles around. After admiring the view, travel to the sizable Am Phu Cave with its lofty vantage point. You will then discover dimly-lit cave temples, admiring colorful pagodas and gazing out over the Vietnamese countryside. The mountains themselves are made from limestone and marble (hence their name), of which the locals use to carve impressive statues and shrines. Before the day is done, there will be a visit to the Linh Ung Pagoda.
