Immerse yourself in the culture and festivities of the Uruguayan Carnival like a local with this activity. After getting picked up from your hotel, visit different neighborhoods of Montevideo in search of the liveliest stages of the carnival.
During your night, experience between 4 and 6 shows favored by locals. The shows you will see are held outside of the tourist area and allow you to experience true carnival culture. As well as dancing along to the musical performances, see how these groups honor and recreate the different African and Uruguayan traditions for a result that will leave you speechless.
Feel part of the local community as you watch spectacles that represent local and international politics, current affairs and local culture. Experience a combination of humor and mischief through the singing, dancing, and performances of the troupes. Get the best seats in the house with your ticket and sample local products during the intervals. At the end of the activity, get dropped off back at your hotel.

All participants over 12 years old must present one of the following: proof of full vaccination, proof of first vaccination administered at least 22 days ago, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before the activity starts

All participants 12 and older must present physical or digital proof that they've been fully vaccinated with a FDA or WHO-approved vaccine administered at least 14 days before the performance date. Children between 5-11 years old must present proof that they've received at least one dose of a FDA or WHO-approved vaccine and be accompanied by a vaccinated adult meeting the theater's entry requirements. Guests whose last vaccine dose (excluding boosters) was fewer than 14 days before the performance date must also present either a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before the performance starts or a negative antigen test taken no more than 6 hours before the performance starts

Participants between 12 and 15 years old must present either proof of full vaccination, proof of a Covid-19 infection in the past 6 months, or a negative PCR test taken no more than 24 hours before the activity starts
