Guided snorkel at La Jolla Cove with sea lions, seals, schools of colorful fish, and huge sea caves! All snorkeling tours depart from the beach (not a boat) in the La Jolla protected marine sanctuary.
The best site for snorkeling in San Diego is La Jolla Cove, part of San Diego's beautiful protected marine. This tour navigates the protected waters from La Jolla Cove, through Emerald Cove and all the way to the ancient sea caves.
Duration: 1.5 hours includes
30 minutes: donning gear, instruction & ocean entry.
60 minutes: in the ocean.
Included with your trip is the complimentary use of mask, snorkel, fins and even a wetsuit. All tours are lead by a skilled guides.
Watch for the baby sea lions swimming in the surf. Get a peek at the spiny lobster or colorful octopus hiding along the rocky reefs. Share the ocean with schools of pretty fish or a little ray. Snorkelers can even check out some of the giant caves.

La Jolla Cove
Once you arrive to the La Jolla Cove area. Meet your guide in the large grass area just south of the brick restroom/shower building.
When you see the La Jolla Cove Suites Hotel at 1155 Coast Blvd, walk directly across the street from the Hotel, toward the ocean, and onto the grass.
This is not a physical building, but the park area at La Jolla Cove where your will meet your guide.
