On this full-day tour from Budapest you’ll enjoy a drive to the northern city of Eger, where you’ll begin your visit with a walk through the downtown area.
Visit the second-largest cathedral in Hungary, admire the Baroque streets and houses, and take in the 17 churches built in the Baroque and Zopf styles.
The Castle of Eger is known for its successful defense against the 1552 Ottoman invasion. Today it is a protected historic monument. From the ruins of the Castle you’ll have an amazing panoramic view.
