7-Day Murchison Falls, Chimps And Gorilla Trekking Uganda

Embark on a trip to Murchison Falls NP and expect the roaring rapids of the Murchison Falls teaming with abundance of wildlife, Trek chimps in Kibale NP, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park.
Travel to the Murchison Falls National Park and expect the roaring rapids of the Murchison Falls, the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park teaming with abundance of wildlife trek chimps in Kibale Forest National Park, go gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and crown your trip at Lake Bunyonyi known for relaxation and sightseeing, finally you will be returned to Entebbe International Airport to catch your flight out.

Day 1:
Hopefully, your flight is scheduled for an early (not past noon) landing in Uganda. Your assigned Sarit Gorilla Safaris Guide/Driver will pick you up from Entebbe Airport and you will hit the road to Murchison Falls.
En route, make a detour visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. You will have at least one hour of rhino tracking while here. Another stop will be in Masindi in order to enjoy your lunch. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening.

Day 2:
Have your breakfast and then depart for an early morning game drive across the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park. Continue with a hike (if you like) to the top of the falls. The hike may be a strenuous one but the thrill of reaching the top is breathtaking. Miss it only if you must. After the hike, you will have an evening game drive on your way to the lodge. Return to your accommodation and have a relaxed evening.

Day 3:
Start the day with a morning game drive to spot any wildlife you might have missed the previous day. Afterward, you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, known for its population of chimpanzees.

Day 4:
In the morning, you will go on a chimpanzee tracking adventure in Kibale Forest. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Once you find them, you will spend a memorable hour observing and learning about these fascinating primates.

Day 5:
Start the day with a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, and a variety of antelope species. Afterward, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

Day 6:
On this day, you will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime experience of mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. After a briefing by the park rangers, you will set off into the forest in small groups to track and observe one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek can vary in duration and difficulty depending on the gorilla group's location, but once you find them, you will spend an unforgettable hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing memories through photographs.

Day 7:
After breakfast, you will begin your journey back to Entebbe Airport for your departure. The drive takes approximately 8-9 hours, with stops for lunch and scenic views along the way. We appreciate you for choosing Sarit Gorilla Safaris
