Visit the historic Spice Souk and Bur Dubai Souk with a ride on a traditional abra boat across Dubai creek. Enjoy 4 tastings of favorite local foods throughout the tour.
Meet your guide near the Spice Souk start your tour by tasting a local egg and cheese roll washed down with hot chai tea. Then explore the alleys and stalls of the Spice Souk and learn about the many exotic spices and ingredients that are sold here. Take part in a fun game organized by your guide which can help you identify the various spices, with a prize for the winner.
After leaving the Spice Souk, cross the creek using a traditional wooden abra boat to reach Bur Dubai Souk. Walk through the Bur Dubai Souk and learn about its history from your guide.
Visit the historic Fahidi neighborhood where you will learn about the traditional architecture of the area. Sample some popular Emirati snacks in the restored home of a pearl-diving merchant. Then, visit a small Indian restaurant where you will try a popular sweet and spicy street snack. Finally, visit a 1970s Iranian restaurant that is very popular with locals, and is known for its delicious soups and kebabs.
