Day 1: Djerba to Ksar Ghilane

Your journey begins with our team picking you up in Djerba or Zarzis, for an uninterrupted experience. We'll take you straight to the Berber village of Chenini, where you'll discover its secrets with a fascinating local guide. The drive continues to Ksar Ghilane, famous for its natural hot spring, and we hope to arrive just before sunset. You'll spend the night under the stars in a camp opposite the majestic dunes. Take advantage of your free time to stroll through the desert and witness the magic of sand bread, baked under sand and embers, during an evening around the campfire.

Night 1: Tented camp in the desert

Day 2: Tozeur and the Mountain Oases

After an invigorating breakfast, you'll head for Tozeur via Douz. On the way, take a photo break at the Chott Djerid salt lake, the largest salt lake in North Africa. Continue to the picturesque oasis of Chebika, where you'll follow a local guide on a 40-minute hike, and visit the spectacular Tamerza waterfall. Your lunch will be an authentic homestay experience in a local restaurant.
Climb aboard a 4x4 to cross Chott El Gharsa and follow the former Dakar Rally route. Take a photo break at Ong Jmal, then cross the impressive rocks and immense dunes by 4x4 to Mos Espa, Tunisia's largest Star Wars set. At the end of the day, head for your hotel, with a final stop at the Nefta basket.
Night 2: Hotel Rass el ain or similar (subject to availability)

Day 3: Matmata and return to Djerba
Start the day with a revitalizing breakfast, followed by a visit to the old medina of Tozeur. Then head for Douz, with a stop at the impressive petrified dunes of Debebecha. In Douz, immerse yourself in the local atmosphere by visiting the bustling market square. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a unique experience on a quad bike or camel ride (optional).
Enjoy a delicious lunch at a 4-star hotel in Douz, then set off to discover Matmata, where you'll visit a troglodyte house and meet a welcoming Berber family offering rosemary tea, olive oil, honey and homemade bread. The final leg of your journey takes you to the Hotel Sidi Idriss, an iconic Star Wars film location. Finally, return to Djerba, with a last stop for a memorable photo at the Berber village of Toujane, marking the end of this incredible adventure.
