Stone Town: Stone Town is the historic heart of Zanzibar City, known for its narrow alleys, vibrant markets, and distinct blend of Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European influences. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s home to beautifully ornate buildings, including the House of Wonders and the former Sultan's Palace. Wander through its winding streets to discover the rich culture and history of Zanzibar.
Prison Island: Also known as Changuu Island, Prison Island is a short boat ride from Stone Town. It was originally intended as a prison for slaves but later became a quarantine station. Today, it’s famous for its giant Aldabra tortoises, some of which are over 100 years old. The island also offers beautiful beaches and excellent snorkeling opportunities.
