Unlike other routes where only guides and clients summit, the entire mountain crew ascends with the expedition equipment, marking a considerable logistical challenge. Consequently, opting for the Crater Camp route incurs additional costs. Nevertheless, the unparalleled experience includes the chance to explore Reusch Crater with its astonishing circular shape and a mesmerizing ash pit measuring 400 feet deep and 1,300 feet wide, a sight rarely witnessed by tourists.
