Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Transfer to your hotel in Moshi at Panama Gurden Hotel.
Briefing about upcoming trek with your guide and Final gear check.

Day 2: Lemosho Glades to Big Tree Camp (Mti Mkubwa)

Drive to the Londorossi Gate for registration.
Begin the trek through the rainforest of the Lemosho Glades.
Hike to Big Tree Camp (Mti Mkubwa) at around 2,780 meters.
Approximate hiking time: 3-4 hours.

Day 3: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp

Continue through the rainforest, gradually ascending.
Reach Shira 1 Camp, located at approximately 3,500 meters.
Enjoy panoramic views of the Shira Plateau.
Approximate hiking time: 5-7 hours.

Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Shira 2 Camp

Trek across the Shira Plateau, passing the Cathedral Rocks.
Ascend to Shira 2 Camp at around 3,850 meters.
Begin to feel the effects of altitude as you gain elevation.
Approximate hiking time: 4-6 hours.

Day 5: Shira 2 Camp to Barranco Camp

Traverse the rocky terrain towards the Lava Tower.
Ascend to the Lava Tower (4,630 meters) for acclimatization.
Descend to Barranco Camp nestled in the Barranco Valley.
Experience the famous Barranco Wall, a challenging but exhilarating climb.
Approximate hiking time: 6-8 hours.

Day 6: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp

Continue ascending through the alpine desert.
Navigate through valleys and ridges towards Karanga Camp.
Gain altitude gradually to aid in acclimatization.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the glaciers and surrounding landscape.
Approximate hiking time: 4-5 hours.

Day 7: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Trek towards Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt.
Ascend through barren landscapes with spectacular views.
Arrive at Barafu Camp (4,600 meters) and prepare for the summit push.
Rest and hydrate in preparation for the challenging ascent ahead.
Approximate hiking time: 4-5 hours.

Day 8: Summit Attempt - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak, then descend to Mweka Camp

Wake up in the early hours for the summit attempt.
Begin the challenging ascent to Stella Point (5,685 meters) on the crater rim.
Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, at 5,895 meters.
Marvel at the sunrise and celebrate your achievement.
Descend back to Barafu Camp for a short rest and meal.
Continue descending to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters) for overnight.
Approximate hiking time: 11-15 hours.

Day 9: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate, then transfer to hotel

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate.
Complete park formalities and receive your summit certificates.
Say farewell to your guides and porters.
Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi.
