Day 1
Arusha to Serengeti Central (7-hour drive)
Depart for the renowned Serengeti National Park, known for its remarkable wildebeest migration. Enjoy a scenic drive through the park and take in the breathtaking landscapes and wildlife sightings. Arrive at Serengeti Moyo Tented Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Central to Northern Serengeti Migration Path (3 hours)
Enjoy a sunrise game drive in central Serengeti, then return to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, transfer on a game drive from central to northern Serengeti with a packed lunch. Arrive in the northern part of Serengeti for a migration path safari. During this journey, your experienced guide will track the wildebeest herds and the potential river crossing. In the evening, transfer to Sero Tented Camp in northern Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Journey of the Wildebeests
Watch as the herd moves north, crossing the Grumeti River and later the River in July or August. The iconic River crossing is a highlight of the Great Migration. Smaller herds may continue back and forth across the River, providing an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing. Stay at one of the Awali camps for the best experience.

Day 4
Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands (5-hour drive)
Optional activity: Hot-air balloon ride

Start with an early morning game drive in northern Serengeti with a packed lunch. Proceed with a drive towards Ngorongoro highlands via central Serengeti. Arrive at Ngorongoro highlands in the afternoon. You may choose to take an afternoon walking tour on the Ngorongoro crater rim. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Embalakai Ngorongoro Camp.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater tour to Arusha or Airport
Take a morning game drive to observe the unique wildlife in the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the stunning view from the crater rim before descending onto the crater floor, home to various wildlife. Conclude your safari with a drop off at Arusha or the airport for your onward journey.
