The Green Season Safari offer designed by our team to provide our clients with the best experience during the Green Season, from April to May and again from early November to mid-December.
DAY 1:Arusha to Tarangire, At 0630am Our driver will pick you up from the hotel, commencing a picturesque 2 hours journey to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive. The name of the park is originated from the Tarangire River which means the River of warthog. It's way through the parklands and is the only source of water for wildlife here during the dry season. The park is well-known for its large elephant herds, Tree-climbing African Python, and diversity of landscapes. You might see lions stalking their prey and/ or leopards relaxing in the trees above. Animals like Zebras, Buffaloes, Impala Heartbeest, Warthogs', Eland, and Giraffes trim your eyes, enjoy lunch 13:00hrs at the picnic site while enjoying the good view of the River. After lunch, proceed with an evening game drive to see more wildlife. Then the driver guide will drive you to your accommodation for relaxing, dinner, and overnight stay. DAY 2:Ngorongoro Crater, Today at 7;00 we will be heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will descend inside the crater where you will be able to see a great number of animals living within the crater including lions, buffalos, zebra, hyenas, and antelopes. If you are lucky, we will be able to see the rhinoceros.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at 13;00 along the crater lake. Proceed with game drives and afterward, you will drive to Lodge close to Lake Manyara National Park.
The crater is the world's largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2.3 million years ago. The crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds. DAY 3:Lake Manyara National Park,After check out, early breakfast with a packed lunch will be provided before proceeding to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
Although small in dimension (205 sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and is famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees. It's also known for its growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. You'll break for lunch at the picnic site and thereafter, proceed with game viewing until late evening when you will exit the park and drive back to Arusha town.
We expect to be back in Arusha at around 4:00 pm although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation.
