This 2-day safari option is a great way to experience some of Tanzania’s amazing wildlife within a short period of time. The Ngorongoro Crater is a “must-see” destination, home to over 25,000 animals and your best chance of seeing the “Big Five”. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of Tarangire National Park, where families of elephants congregate year-round by the Tarangire River. You will have exclusive use of a Alaitol 4x4 safari vehicle and an expert guide who will show you the best locations to spot the wildlife. A truly memorable adventure.

Itinerary
Day 1: Discover Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, meet & great with other trip participants and begin safari program with a short briefing from you driver guide. Depart with your naturalist driver guide with picnic-lunch to Tarangire National park; Tanzania’s third largest National Park & Sanctuary for elephants. Game drives inside the National Park. In the afternoon continue to you lodge for dinner & overnight.

Overnight: Ngorongoro Farm House

Day 2:Discover Ngorongoro Crater –Arusha/Airport
After an early breakfast, drive to the entrance gate of the Nogorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Crater. The lush ecosystem of Ngorongoro Crater offers a large variety of animals due to the permanent availability of vegetation & water. Be on the look-out for the ‘Big Five’ - the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalo. After your early morning game drive you will take a break to enjoy your hot lunch at the Hippo Pull Picnic site in the crater before we return to your hotel in Arusha/ airport for your flight back.
