01. What happens on a typical day on Morning or Afternoon Safari?

A. Pick-up time at 4.30 a.m. - in and around Koggala/ Ahangama/ Weligama/ Mirissa/ Matara/ Dondra/ Talalle area. All pick up times - (Morning or Full Day Safari - 4.30 a.m./ 5.00 a.m./ Afternoon Safari - 12.00 p.m./ 12.30 p.m.)
Adjust the times in the itinerary according to the pickup time.

B. Get down from the transfer vehicle and get into the Safari vehicle - at Udawalawe at around 6.45 a.m.

C. Wildlife safari/ game drive (7.00 a.m. - 10.00 a.m.)

D. Break at Udawalawe (20-30 minutes)
This will give you time to enjoy your breakfast

E. Visit the Feeding time of the Elephant Transit Home (Feeding times are at 10.30 a.m. - morning / 2.30 p.m. - Afternoon)
Get the experience of feeding the adorable baby elephants.

F. Get down from the Safari Vehicle and get into the transfer vehicle (Air-conditioned Car/ Mini Van) - at Udawalawe at around 11.00 a.m.

G. You may be able to witness the wild elephants by the side of the road while passing the Lahugala area

H. Drop-off time at around 3.00 p.m. - any hotel in and around Arugambay area.

In the Morning Safari, we first visit the Udawalawa National Park, but in the Afternoon Safari, we first visit the Elephant Transit Home. So, adjust the itinerary accordingly.

02. What happens on a typical day on a Full-day Safari?

A. Details related to Pickup time and duration to transfer are same as above.

B. Get into the Safari vehicle - at Udawalawe at around 6.45 a.m.

C. 1st Game Drive (7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.)

D. Break at Udawalawe (20-30 minutes)
This will give you time to enjoy your breakfast

E. 2nd Game Drive (10.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.)

F. Lunch Break (1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.)

H. Get into the transfer vehicle - at Udawalawe at around 6.00 p.m.
