It is undeniable that this town is one of the top destinations in the world for those interested in enjoying fresh, seasonal, and creative dishes. Ingrained in Basque culture is an uncompromising insistence on finding the best ingredients and creating a spellbinding array of small dishes that will make your taste buds dance.
Because we are sensitive to the ever-growing problem of over-tourism but, at the same time, want to support our local culture and economy, we offer a limited number of tours and only within the off-seasons (October through May).
We believe travel experiences resonate more deeply when we find those smaller, unexpected moments. Because of this, we prefer hosting small outings (up to 5 people) with free-ranging conversations about food, culture, and history - all tailored to your needs.
As residents of this town we know which ingredients are in season and which places take advantage of this seasonality. Whether visiting local-favorite haunts or well-known classic joints, your eyes will roll back with pleasure.
