A 8-day exposure across Rwanda and Uganda

This 8-day itinerary will start from Kigali to end in Entebbe. You will visit Rwanda and Uganda. You will visit Volcano NP, Nyungwe NP, Queen Elizabeth NP and Murchison NP.
Day 1: Pick up from your hotel, Nyanza King’s Palace and Butare Ethnographic Museum
After your breakfast, you will drive about 3 hours toward Nyanza where Rwanda takes its roots and where the famous and majestic Rwandan kings were staying. You will learn about the royal style, the smartness and the authority of pre-colonial Rwanda.
Later after, you will go for the Ethnographic museum and learn more about Rwandan culture before you continue your way to Nyungwe National Park and stay at Ear guesthouse.

Day 2: Tea plantation experience and Canopy walk
After breakfast, we will go to experience tea plantation and learn how tea is processed from field upto the cup of tea.
In the evening, we will go for canopy walk experience, a bridge of 70m above the untapped forest of Nyunge. Overnight: Bethany hotel

Day 3: Go to respond to the calling Islands
After your breakfast, you will drive about 3-hours to reach Kibuye and take a boat to the Islands in Lake Kivu and start exploring the beauty that the Lake has to offer in real life. You will hike for some minutes to the top of Amahoro Island.
Later, you will be transferred to Rubavu and check in at Paradis Hotel.

Day 4: Rubavu city and Iby’Iwacu cultural village
After your breakfast, we will proceed with Rubavu city tour, a city which shares border with Goma of Congo. We will visit some interesting places and get to witness the most popular erupting volcano, Nyiragogo.
Later after, we will drive 1,5 hour to Musanze and go to visit the Iby’Iwacu cultural village, an indigenous on the feet of Volcano who used to poach but now they became real contributors of Mountain Gorilla.

Day 5: Golden Monkey trek and transfer to Uganda in Queen Elizabeth
After your breakfast, we will go to trek Golden monkey in Volcano National Park. The trek takes 1-3 hours in all ways and then after you will drive about 1 hour towards Rwanda-Uganda border. After border formalities, we will drive straight to Queen Elizabeth NP. Overnight: Engiri Game Lodge

Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer to Murchison National Park
After your morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth where you may expect o see Lions, Buffalo, Leopard, we will then later head to Murchison Falls, which is a waterfall on the Victoria Nile in Uganda. We will get in Murchison in evening and go to stay to our hotel
Overnight: Red Chili Rest Camp
Day 7: Morning Game drive and Murchison Falls and evening boat cruise
After your breakfast, we will go on a morning safari and expect to meet elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, waterbuck and a countless population birds. After lunch, a three hour boat trip along the Nile gives you assured chance to see the falls from the bottom angle.

Day 8: Visit Rhino sanctuary and Transfer to Kampala
After your breakfast, we will drive towards Kampala, along our way, we will visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before we continue our way to Entebbe airport.
