2-Day Akagera National Park Safari with Boat Cruise

You will spend your 2 days in the only savannah Park in Rwanda which is Akagera and you will take part in the two activities that are to say; a boat cruise on Lake Ihema.
Spend 2 days in the only savannah Park in Rwanda, Akagera, and take part in a boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will be able to look at aquatic animals and water birds, and a game drive where you will be able to look at the big five animals and other animals plus the birds.

On the first day, travel to Akagera National Park and go on an evening game drive. After being picked up from the airport in Kigali, meet your driver and head to Akagera, a distance covered in two hours. Check in at the hotel for lunch and resting as well.

In the evening, head for an evening game drive in the park where you will be able to spot the big five animals which include the hippos, leopards, lions, rhinoceros, and buffaloes. You will also have a look at other animals like topis, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes, and primates like baboons. After your game drive, head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On the second day, wake up in the morning, have breakfast, and head for a morning boat trip on Lake Ihema, one of the lakes found in Akagera National Park where you will spot a lot of aquatic animals like hippos on the shores, crocodiles, and a lot of water birds since the park is the birder's haven with over 500 species of birds.

After your boat cruise, enjoy your lunch from your lodge and then check out and transfer to Kigali International airport for your flight back home en route stop over at any craft shop for some souvenirs.
