For those who don't have much time but want to see Porto's essential sites, you can see the main landmarks of the city on a quicker route. Get to know the city's history and how it developed with the arrival of the Romans. Learn more about the Moorish and Castilian invasions and the more recent one in the 19th century by Napoleon's troops.

Pass by the Lello & Irmão bookstore, frequented by J. K. Rowling. Then visit the Clerics Church. Shortly after, arrive at São Bento Railway station built on the site of a former Benedictine convent inside the walled city.
