Join your private guide on a day trip from Lisbon or Cascais to Evora and Monsaraz, with hotel transfers included. Visit the Roman Temple and Chapel of Bones, and explore the hilltop castle of Monsaraz.
This tour will take you to Évora, a world heritage site, where medieval streets, palaces, and beautiful typical Portuguese houses coexist.
Start the tour to the south, passing over the 25th April bridge at Lisbon also known as the Golden Gate replica, and use the opportunity to visit the iconic Christ King, with the best views over the city of Lisbon.
On arrival at Évora, beside the Historical Centre, there are nearby a lot of interesting points to visit, such as Evora's Roman Temple, the Cathedral, Saint Francis church, King Manuel Royal Palace, the local market, and one of the most famous and iconic places, the Chapel of Bones, entirely made with monk bones lifted from an ancient cemetery.
Onwards, you will travel towards the border between Portugal and Spain, to discover Monsaraz Castle, and explore its medieval streets surrounded by stunning views of the Alentejo plains, where you can also see the largest artificial river beach in Europe, the Alqueva.
