Experience dramatic mountain views and authentic traditional villages on a day trip to Zakopane from Krakow. Visit the quaint town of Chocholow, taste some local cheese, and ride the funicular for scenic views from Gubalówka Mountain.
Start with pickup from your accommodation in Krakow and travel south to the charming traditional village of Chocholow. Admire the classic wooden architecture throughout the town.
Then hop onboard a funicular and ascend to the top of Gubalówka Mountain. From the summit take in the fantastic panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains.
Afterward, enjoy some free time to immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of Zakopane as you stroll among the magnificent buildings. Taste some delicious smoked cheese from local producers, before returning to Krakow with drop-off at your hotel.
Please note that from 8 to 12 April the funicular will be closed for repairs, so we will use an alternative route to get to Mount Gubalówka during this time.
