Although the park is the smallest national park in Poland, it’s filled with natural beauty and rich history. The park is located within the Jurassic Upland, an area of Poland known for its stunning limestone formations, caves, and wildlife.
Hike along the Trail of the Eagle’s Nests. Considered to be one of the best tourist trails in Poland, the Trail of the Eagle’s Nest consists of several castles and watchtowers that were used to protect Poland’s trade routes. Visit the Gothic castle at Ojców and the Renaissance castle at Pieskowa Skała. Marvel at the ruins of the 14th-century Castle in Ogrodzieniec. See the Chapel on the Water, the beautifully simple shrine made from a former bathhouse. Admire the enormous limestone edifice known as Hercules Club.
