CANDAMO MAMMALS EXCURSION (5 DAYS – 4 NIGHTS)

Make the most of your stay in harmony with nature with the Candamo mammals tour, 5 days and 4 nights. Visit trails in the forest, enjoy the sunset on the river, observe a variety of flora and fauna.
DAY 1: HEADING TO THE HEART OF LAKE SANDOVAL
Reception and heading to the boat, the trip is 40 minutes along the Madre de Dios River. Arrival at the Tambopata National Reserve and we will enter Lake Sandoval.
On the walk we can find: monkeys, snakes, tarantulas, tropical birds, parrots.
At the end of the walk, a canoe awaits us to explore Lake Sandoval and on the way we can find: tropical birds on the shore, herons, alligators, and the giant river otter.
In our rustic cabin, we have a typical jungle lunch. And we get to know the place of the lodge.
After lunch we go out in our canoe to explore Lake Sandoval to wait for the sunset on Lake Sandoval. Return to our cabin for dinner.
DAY 2: THE MANIFESTATION OF FAUNA
From very early at 5 am we go in search of yellow and blue macaws and other species in the parrot clay lick activity in the palm ecosystem.
We return to our lodge for breakfast, search for giant otters and visit the tower of Lake Sandoval.

looking for more fauna always surrounded by a natural setting.
Typical lunch we prepare our bags to return to the Madre de Dios River where our boat awaits us. At 4:00 pm we return to PUERTO MALDONADO where our vehicle awaits us to go to our other lodge in the Madre de Dios River sector.
DAY 3: VISIT TO THE TAMBOPATA RIVER, A MAGICAL NEW PLACE IN TOURISM
We have breakfast near the Tambopata River in one of our local family LOGDEs and we leave to do the activity of:
hanging bridge
zip line.
Our lunch is at 1pm, a short break and we go out by boat. Our sunset from the boat is a unique view, we grab our flashlights to look for; capybaras, white caimans, river birds that are on the banks.
We have dinner and continue with the NIGHT ACTIVITY where if we have energy we can do a night walk.

DAY 4: CANDAMO TAMBOPATA
American breakfast and interpretation walk about the very old trees and medicinal plants of the jungle and visit, regional fruit sector.
TYPICAL LUNCH
One of the new activities within Tambopata, we can do sport fishing in Lake Yacumama. A large lake with abundant flora and fauna is ideal for bird watching, small macaws and parrots.
The trip is by car from the main square.

DAY 5: LICK OF PARROTS A UNIQUE ACTIVITY IN PERU
Amazonian sunrise and departure to Puerto Maldonado. This morning you can enjoy the sunrise and capture the impressive views of the Madre de Dios River. You will enjoy a last breakfast
with organic ingredients from our pantry before leaving.
Your guide and the staff in charge will say goodbye to you and thank you for visiting this part of the Amazon. You will travel by canoe with an outboard motor back to Puerto Maldonado.
