For two days, discover the magic of the Tambopata National Reserve, a natural paradise in the Amazon jungle of Peru that offers you to witness incredible biodiversity.
Day 1: Tambopata National Reserve - Cocha Caiman
For this excursion you will be picked up from the airport or hotel in Puerto Maldonado and then take a short city tour of the city and then go to the port of Capitanía where you will board a boat to go to the lodge. The journey lasts 40 minutes while traveling along the great Madre de Dios River. Upon arrival at the lodge you will be greeted with a warm welcome, you can settle into your room and then enjoy lunch.
In the afternoon, the guide will take you to Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon where you will observe the white caiman and black caiman; Then you will return to the lodge for dinner and have free time to enjoy the place and listen to the songs of the nocturnal birds.
Day 2: Tambopata National Reserve - return to Puerto Maldonado
This day you will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado so you will say goodbye to the jungle and its charms. Before leaving, a delicious breakfast awaits you.
