At Monkey Island, a refuge for several species of monkeys, our purpose is to care for them and prepare them for their return to the wild once they have recovered. This is a unique opportunity for wildlife lovers, where you can even volunteer during your stay at the reserve.
The adventure begins with the transfer from your hotel near the Iquitos Boulevard pier and the main square. Next, we enter the Atalaya River and then the majestic Amazon, where we may catch a glimpse of pink dolphins if they are in season.
Arriving at Monkey Island, we will witness the diversity of flora and fauna, having the opportunity to interact with the local wildlife. Afterwards, we will sail back through the Amazon, concluding our trip with a view of the breathtaking sunset in this wonderful region.
