This experience in Iquitos will begin at 8:00 pm at the meeting point on Contamana Street. Upon arrival, we will accompany you to the lodge where we will settle in to wait for the spiritual tour guide or shaman. Since ancient times, the indigenous peoples of Peru have made use of the healing properties of ayahuasca to solve their physical and emotional problems. The influence of this medicinal plant helps to release traumas, purify body and mind and connect with our inner self, helping to overcome our deepest fears. The shaman will begin with a reading of coca leaves, after which the purification ceremony will begin. This is an essential step, as participants must eliminate any negative energy from their bodies before drinking the ayahuasca. After ingesting this drink, you will have a short period of time to meditate. Then, the shaman will continue the ritual with prayers to the Pachamama, which is the Peruvian name and representation of Mother Earth. This part of the ceremony is so that we can reach a balance between us and nature. Once this part of the ceremony is over, we will meet again so that the tour guide can help you understand the effect the Ayahuasca has had. While most people do not experience visions during the ceremony, patience and determination will lead you to a more visionary state afterwards. Feeling refreshed and liberated from negative energy, our experience will come to an end at midnight on the way back to the starting point.
