From Lima || Callao and Royal Felipe Fortress Tour ||

Delve into the maritime history of Peru by visiting Callao and the Royal Felipe Fortress. We will also visit famous graffiti and galleries.
Itinerary
After picking you up at your hotel in Lima at 9:00 a.m., we will head west to Callao, where we will see famous graffiti and galleries.

We will continue our tour of Callao and discover why it is considered the main port of Peru and one of the most important in South America. In addition, we will go back to the viceregal era as we walk through streets that have been the scene of countless battles and important historical events.

Next to the Plaza de la Independencia we will visit the Royal Felipe Fortress, one of the most outstanding works of the viceregal era. It was built in the 17th century by the Spaniards to defend the city from Dutch pirates and is currently home to the Museum of the Army of Peru.

In addition to learning about its role as the last bastion of resistance of the Spanish forces in Peru, from here we will get unbeatable views of the port and the bay. We will return to the bus and head to La Punta and stroll along the boardwalk, enjoying the main square and its wetlands.

Finally, we will make our way back to the hotels in Lima, where we will finish the tour at approximately 2:00 pm.
