Meet your local host on the main street of San Pedro de Atacama to begin your experience. Heading southeast of the desert taking the scenic route to the hidden Baltinache lagoons. During the 1-hour drive, see all the rock and salt landscapes that make up the desert, and learn why this area is believed to have been at the bottom of the ocean millions of years ago.
Walk to the start of the track where you can visit the 7 lagoons. Be amazed by the crystal-clear waters of the lagoons and wonder how such a thing is possible in the middle of nowhere.
From June 10, 2024, the lagoons are no longer suitable for swimming. It is now only possible to observe and take photos of the lagoons.
We also visit the valley of the abandoned bus, also known as the 'Magic Bus'. Iconic for its rustic look and perfect setting, you can take this time to capture your perfect shot.
Finally, head back to San Pedro de Atacama where your memorable tour concludes.
