Discover the magical Humantay Lagoon on a day trip, surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes and snow-capped mountains.
On the day of the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time the day before, between 04:00 and 04:30 hrs. to board the transport that will take us to the town of Mollepata in the exuberant valley of the Apurímac River, a place where we will taste our breakfast and be able to purchase what we need before starting the journey to the Humantay Lagoon, located at 4200 meters above sea level. We will head towards Challacancha enjoying the route of all the majesty of the snow-capped Humantay in the Vilcabamba mountain range and we continue the route towards Soraypampa 2900 meters above sea level, where we will have a short break.
After recharging our energy to continue to our destination. We will begin with a tour to the Lagoon, we will have impressive and surprising views of the Humantay Lagoon, appreciating all the scenic beauty of the place that will allow us to take impressive photographs to remember.
It is approximately 2 km away to Humantay Lagoon, which can be done in 2 hours. approximately walking distance. We will be able to appreciate on one side the Nevado de Humantay at 4200 meters above sea level and on the other side the imposing Nevado de Salkantay. In the Laguna we will have free time to rest, take photographs and appreciate the landscape and then return to Soraypampa, board the transport and head back to Mollepata where a delicious lunch awaits us.
We will be back in Cusco arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m., leaving you near the Plaza de Armas of Cusco.
