From Lima: 2-Day Ballestas Islands, Huacachina, and Ica Tour

DAY 1
Depart from San Isidro (hotel range available) / Sheraton Hotel (Lima). Enjoy a pick-up in Miraflores (hotel range available) and stop at Saga Falabella Miraflores.

Arrive at the tourist pier for a yacht ride, where you can observe sea lions, penguins, seagulls, and pelicans, along with views of the Paracas Candelabra. Enjoy a tasting of local sweet treats (tejas, chocotejas, etc.) with free time to shop for souvenirs.

Visit the Pisco route to taste seven varieties of wines and piscos. Enjoy a free lunch at Nietto or Catador restaurant, featuring their signature dish, 'sopa seca.' If you're staying at a hotel in Huacachina, you'll be taken there. Otherwise, you’ll be dropped off at the Huacachina lagoon as your final stop for the day.

DAY 2
Enjoy the morning at your leisure until 9 AM. A guide will pick you up from your hotel to continue the tour. Visit the main square of Ica and explore the surrounding area, including the famous Church of Luren, the cathedral, and San Francisco Church.

Explore the town of Cachiche, known for its legendary witches, where many women were believed to possess supernatural powers. Discover Ica’s status as the largest producer of Pisco in Peru by visiting another winery to learn about the production process.

Visit the Huacachina oasis, where you can hear local legends about the dunes, along with a chocolate tasting in Ica. Enjoy optional buggies and sandboarding activities. Finally, travel back to Lima by air-conditioned bus, concluding the tour at the same drop-off points as your departure.
