Sacred Valley of the Incas, starting at 7:00 AM at the Machu Picchu Reservation Office in Cusco. We will drive you for 45 minutes to Chinchero. In Chinchero, our guide will show you the ancient Inca site and a beautiful old church. You will also meet a local family and see how they make traditional textiles using natural dyes. Next, we will visit Moray to see its amazing round terraces built by the Incas. Our guide will tell you the history of the place and you will have time to take photos and look around. Afterwards, we will head to the Maras Salt Mines. You will learn how salt is harvested and see some unique salt crafts. You will have plenty of photo opportunities. We will stop in the charming town of Urubamba for a tasty buffet lunch at around 12:30 PM. After lunch, we will go to Ollantaytambo and visit the archaeological site, finishing around 3:00 PM. If you want to end your tour in Ollantaytambo, you can choose to stay. Finally, we will head to the archaeological site of Pisac. Our guide will take you around the terraces and you will be able to take more stunning photos. We plan to be back in Cusco around 6:30 pm, after a full day of discovering the history and beauty of the Inca lands. When planning your trip, keep in mind that travel time between destinations can range from 30 minutes to an hour by car. During these journeys, you are not just traveling; you are already beginning to enjoy the stunning views of the Sacred Valley. At each place you visit, you will have between 30 minutes and an hour to explore and fully appreciate its historical and cultural significance. For those who have not yet purchased an entrance ticket, there is no need to worry. You can buy one in Chinchero, which is our first stop on the tour.
