Discover the incredible hidden stone forest of Cajamarca, one of the most impressive places 40 minutes from the city.
This magical archaeological sanctuary is located in Cajamarca, 40 minutes from the city. They are rocks carved by erosion, but the most impressive thing is the work of pre-Inca engineering, an aqueduct that still works today. We will begin our excursion with hotel pickup between 9:00 am, then we will travel to Cumbemayo. We will be able to appreciate the forest of large stone monoliths known as frailones, we will also visit the Cumbemayo aqueduct that currently still flows water for its 9 kilometers. We will visit the Sanctuary and see some caves with engravings in the rock that are still an enigma. -Return to the city arrival time approximately 1:00 p.m.
