From Arequipa: Pisco and wine tour through the Majes Valley

Wine and pisco are two of the most precious products in Peru. With this tour, you will discover all its secrets by visiting two wineries in the Majes Valley. It will surprise you!
We will pick you up at the established location in Arequipa at 6:30 am and we will head by minibus to the Majes Valley, a perfect area to get to know part of Peruvian culture.

The first stop on this tour will be the Toro Muerto petroglyphs. We will admire these manifestations of rock art, made by at least three different cultures settled in the valley. We will discover everything related to the studies of these engravings, as well as with the Incas, the Wari and the Collagua.

We will continue the tour visiting a wine and pisco winery. Thanks to an expert guide, we will learn the characteristics of a typical winery in the Majes Valley, where white and red wines and different varieties of pisco are made. Plus, we'll test your products!

After the visit, you will have around an hour of free time to recharge your batteries on your own at a restaurant in the area. We recommend you try the famous shrimp-based dishes, they are delicious!

We will meet again and go to the second winery, where we will discover the different production processes carried out for the production of wine and pisco. We will see the old jars or stills used and, to finish, we will do a tasting.

We will return to Arequipa accompanied by a movie sunset and we will leave you at 7:00 p.m.
