Tour in the Colca Canyon in 2 days - Colca Canyon

Spend 2 days in the Colca Canyon with this tour from Arequipa. You will get to know Chivay, its hot springs and the most famous viewpoints in the area. Essential!
Day 01: Arequipa Chivay.
7:30 to 8:00 am we will pick you up from the meeting point to begin our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura highway, bordering the snowy Chachani towards Pampa Cañahuas (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve ) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. In the tocra wetlands we can see a variety of migratory birds, among which are flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the volcano viewpoint, which is also the highest area of the road (4,800 meters above sea level) from where we will appreciate a large part of the western mountain range.

1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Approximately, arrival in Chivay

17:00 In the afternoon we will enjoy the thermal baths in La Calera whose thermo-medicinal waters range between 35º to 38º degrees Celsius in temperature in the pools.

Day 2: Chivay, Cruz del Cóndor, Chivay and Arequipa.
06:00 Continental breakfast

06:30 We will go to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On the way back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque; which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as the Chocotico and Antahuilque viewpoints, from where we will observe the impressive terraces of the valley, the tombs and pre-Inca models.

5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Arrival in the city of Arequipa.
