Luxury trip: Lake Titicaca to Arequipa in 3 days

Experience an exclusive journey through the Peruvian Altiplano to Lake Titicaca. We will visit the Saracocha Lagoon and the Sumbay Caves before arriving in the White City of Arequipa.
Day 1:
We will meet at the Wanchaq station in Cusco at 10:00 am. After check-in, we will board the luxurious Andean Explorer train to cross the Peruvian altiplano to the mystical Lake Titicaca.
Departing from Cusco, you will have time to settle into your elegant cabins and store your luggage. Afterwards, you can explore the train's sophisticated interior and relax while enjoying the spectacular views from the observatory car.
At 1:00 pm, enjoy a delicious lunch in the restaurant car, consisting of a starter, main course, dessert and a drink.
At 4:30 pm, we will arrive at La Raya, the highest point on the route between Puno and Cusco, where we will accompany the panoramic view with an afternoon tea.
Before dinner, we will toast with cocktails and canapés and, at 7:30 pm, we will delight in a gourmet dinner a la carte.
Finally, at 10:00 pm, we will arrive at the Lake Titicaca station in Puno, where we will spend the night on board the train.

Day 2:
At 6:00 a.m., we will witness the breathtaking sunrise over Lake Titicaca, a truly amazing experience!
Afterwards, we will enjoy a hearty breakfast to recharge our batteries and at 9:30 a.m., we will visit the fascinating floating island of the Uros. Here you will learn about these artificial structures built from totora reeds, an aquatic plant unique to Lake Titicaca.
At 12:30 p.m., we will stop for lunch at the charming Puno Muelle hangar. After lunch, we will return to the luxurious train to head towards the picturesque Saracocha Lagoon.
At 7:00 p.m., we will enjoy an elegant cocktail on board, accompanied by exquisite canapés, followed by a gourmet dinner - a perfect way to end this exciting day!
Day 3:
On the third day we will wake up to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Saracocha Lagoon, a truly unforgettable experience. At 8:30 a.m., we will enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading to the enigmatic Sumbay Caves.
After exploring this fascinating site, we will make a stop at kilometre 93 for those interested in exploring on their own the impressive Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world and home to the majestic Andean condor, whose flight is simply spectacular.
Lunch will be served on board at 12:30 p.m., and one hour later we will arrive in Arequipa, ending this exciting 3-day excursion.

This activity takes place on board one of the most outstanding trains in Peru, with limited seating capacity. Due to this, ticket availability is limited and may not be available on the date of your reservation. We recommend that you make your reservation as far in advance as possible.

In the event of cancellation due to strikes or adverse weather conditions, no refunds will be made. In these cases, we will offer you an alternative date to start the tour.
