From Arequipa || Sandboarding in the La Joya Desert ||

Enjoy a day full of adventure practicing sandboarding in the desert of La Joya. You will be able to slide down the huge white sand dunes of this enclave in Arequipa.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Arequipa at 2:00 pm and head to the La Joya desert, about an hour and a half from the city. Once there, we will provide you with the necessary equipment to start surfing the dunes. Let's have fun!

Sandboarding will allow you to enjoy dunes between 5 and 70 meters high, perfect for all levels. We will start with the smallest ones, to get into a rhythm. After practicing in these, we will get on a 4x4 vehicle that will take us to the highest dunes. Take advantage of this trip, it will be very exciting!

After this route through the desert, you will have free time to slide down the different slopes on the sandboard. After you'll be able to launch yourself as many times as you want on the white sand dunes, we'll replenish your energy with a snack.

We will finish the activity returning to Arequipa and we will drop you off at your hotels around 5:00 pm.


Pick up
Pick up is included in the hotels located within a radius of 1 kilometer from the Plaza de Armas in Arequipa. If your hotel is located outside this area, you will have to go to the meeting point located in the Plaza de Armas at the indicated time.
