Along the way you will marvel at its towns, the volcanoes that you can see from there and the reflections that you will see. It is recommended to do 2 days to be able to do all the activities.
In 2019, UNESCO officially declared the Colca Canyon as a new member of the International Network of Global Geoparks. It is the first global geopark in Peru and the third in South America that is part of the prestigious list of these unique natural spaces on the planet.
This lagoon is located at 4300 m. high, it is surrounded by the Misti, Ubinas and Pichu Pichu volcanoes. The Salinas Lagoon is located within the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve and, therefore, is a protected place.
