2 Nights | 3 Days Tour Of Wahiba & Nizwa

Oman has always been a strategic country at the tip of the Arabian gulf, with a great maritime history, symbolized by the adventures of Sinbad the Sailor
Day 1:
At 0830hrs, you will meet tour guide in your Hotel. You will start journey and proceed along the coastal road heading to Sur. On the way you stop at Bimah sinkhole, formation of the karst topography and a scenic wonder. You will continue to Wadi Shab, which translates as a gorge between the cliffs. Only accessible on foot, the path winds its ways up the wadi past caves, plantations, cliffs and deep pools with the scenery changing at every step. At the end of Wadi Shab there is a swim through the famous keyhole into the secluded world thrilling of fantasy. (Picnic lunch packets can be served at an optional cost). After that, you will then proceed to Sur and visit dhow yards. You will then drive to the Wahiba Desert.
The Wahiba sands are longitudinal dunes 200 KM’s long and 100 KM’s wide running south from the Eastern Hajars to the Arabian Sea. This is the traditional home of the Bedouin, hardy spirited people who know how to survive in these harsh desert conditions. You are invited to meet with a Bedouin family and gain an intimate insight into their traditional lifestyle.
You will then be driven to reach your camp for your overnight stay.
After reaching your camp and completing check-in formalities, you will be driven on top of a dune to watch the magnificent sunset. Return to the Camp and enjoy a traditional BBQ style dinner under the sky.
Day 2:
Breakfast at the Camp. By 0830Hrs, you embark on your tour towards Wadi Bani Khalid the Lost Shangri La. Starting off at the village with its endless date plantation, we then walk on following intricate cave passages weaving through the wadi. The pool is cool, deep and absolutely stunning with silky clear water. (Lunch at an optional cost)
You then proceed to Nizwa, You visit the souk showcasing a wonderful array of handicrafts - coffee pots, swords, leather goods, silverware, antiques, and household utensils. Check in at the hotel around 1600hrs for your overnight stay.
Day 3:
Breakfast at the Hotel. You leave the Hotel at 0830Hrs and visit Nizwa fort, was the seat of power during the rule of the Al Ya'ruba dynasty and is Oman's most visited National monument. You then drive towards Bahla, the oldest recorded region of civilization in Oman.
Photo stop at the huge loam fort. The forts main feature is its 7-mile long walls which were patrolled by sentries night and day. Bahla is also known as the pottery capital of Oman. Because of its cultural value, Bahla is placed in the UNESCO’s list of heritage monuments. (Lunch at an optional cost)
From here it is a short distance to the mighty bastion of Jabrin and the crown seat of the Yaruba Dynasty. You will then proceed to Misfat Al Abrein, a picturesque village strapped on to the side of a mountain. As you walk around this village where time has come to a standstill, you will be moved by the simplicity and friendliness of the people. You then proceed back to Muscat and we drop you off at your hotel in Muscat around 1700Hrs.
