Our first destination is Nizwa, Nizwa was the old capital of Oman it has one of largest traditional markets in Oman that has too many vendors putting their goods on the streets of the market in order to be sold the goods are represented in fish, meat, vegetables, pottery, jewellery, handicrafts and souvenirs which cannot be found anywhere else, and in Friday there is a special event in this market, sellers from nearby villages come to sell their chickens, donkeys, sheep, goats and cattle in a circus style market.
Then we will take a tour in Nizwa fortress, which is now a museum which has unbelievable views of the great town Nizwa and its magnificent mountains, you can walk inside the great fortress and its many towers, passages and rooms as you wish, the place is considered as an architectural certificate of perfection that express how great their economy and military were.
And then we will be driving to Al Hamra, to see see the tradition homes at the old village there.
Our next destination is Misfat Al Abrain, it is a picturesque village which is located on a steep slope at Jebel Shams, we will explore its old homes, walk in its narrow streets and take a look at its large Falaj water supplying system and in the end we will drive back to Muscat.
