Be welcomed by your guide at your meeting point in Tromsø and hop board for a relaxing ride to lower cable car station on Fjellheisen mountain.
With permission to skip the queue, take the cable car to the upper station on the Storsteinen mountain ledge for breathtaking views from 421 meters above sea level.
Put on your snowshoes and pick up your hiking poles to begin your snowshoeing adventure! Our experienced guide will accompany you every step of the way, ensuring fun and your safety on the trail. The guide will also document your adventurous spirit with a snowshoe-portrait.
After the hike, you can relax with a pastry and a hot drink on the open-air panorama terrace before we take the cable car down and make our way back to the city again.

Fjellheisen Cable Car is expanding their facilities - please expect ongoing construction work at the upper cable car station
We do not provide winter clothing, only the necessary snowshoeing equipment. Dress appropriately for the weather: the temperature on top of the mountain is usually lower and the winds are stronger than in the city center of Tromsø.
Moderate tours are suitable for those in good physical condition. Everyone on these tours should be able to hike at least 1 hour at a moderate pace with breaks.
Don’t forget sunglasses for tours after 15. January
